I grew up in a Christian home in the mountains of Asheville, NC. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior after hearing a message from my pastor, Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr., while attending vacation Bible school. At the age of 12, I was attending The Wilds Camp in Brevard, NC when I felt God was calling me into the ministry. At the time, I had no idea what God wanted me to do, but I knew He wanted me to serve Him in the ministry. It was while I was in high school that I met my future wife, Allie. We were married during my senior year of college. She is truly my high school sweetheart!
While attending Crown College in Powell, TN God confirmed in my heart that he wanted me to work with young people. After graduation, my wife and I taught at a Christian school for 1 year before the Lord called us to Neuse Baptist Church. We are so excited for all that God is going to do here at Neuse Baptist!
