I grew up in a pastor's home. At the age of 8 I accepted Christ as my personal Savior while attending the Camp of the Ozarks.
Accepting the call of God, I entered Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO in the fall of 1984. It was there I met Suzan Boys; we were married on August 2, 1986. After completing our student teaching and graduating in 1988, we went forth to serve and have served in Indiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Kansas and Illinois. On August 1, 2013 we moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to join Neuse as their Associate Pastor, working with the music ministry.
Suzan and I have 4 children: Tyler is married to his High School sweetheart, Sarah and they live in Chicago, IL with our three grandchildren, Maggie, Baker and Judah; Meganne is a pre-school teacher living in Raleigh and is active serving at Neuse; Caleb is a graduate of Trinity Baptist College, is married to Alexis and living in Indianapolis, IN and Devin also graduated from Trinity and is a Raleigh Police Officer.
We are happy to be at Neuse Baptist Church and looking forward to many more years of service.
